Lily Festival Juried Art Show 2010
Entry Form-How to Enter - Each entrant may submit up to 2 original works of art with a lily theme; tiger lily to water lily, lily of the valley or calla lily, all lilies are encouraged in any media, either 2D or 3D.
Awards - Awards include $200 for 1st place, $100 for 2nd place, $50 for 3rd place, and a $25 Gift Certificate for each of two Honorable Mention awards.
Delivery - Entries will be accepted from Wednesday, June 23 through Sunday, June 27, between 10am-4pm at the Campbell Pottery Store. All 2-D work must be framed & wired for secure hanging. All other forms of hanging (e.g. saw tooth hangers and clips) are not acceptable. Please call with any questions. Works should not exceed 72” in any dimension nor weigh more than 100 lbs. The Store and Gallery agree to take reasonable care of the artwork but will not be held responsible for damage or loss.
Judging - Notification of acceptance or rejection will be made by mail or e-mail to each entrant upon completion of judging. Rejected pieces must be picked up prior to July 7th.
2010 Juror - Carole Werder
Carole holds an MFA in Painting from Edinboro University and is currently an art instructor at Mercyhurst college in Erie, PA. She is a member of the National Association of women Artists, N.P.A.A. and the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh. A recipient of many awards, Carole has exhibited her work extensively throughout the region.
Opening and Closing - The show opens to the public on Saturday, July 10th, with an Opening
Reception on Sat. July 17th from 1-3pm. Work accepted for the show may not be picked up until after the show closes.
All unsold work must be picked up between August 9th and August 14th, 2010. If the work is sold, the artist will be paid 60% of that price and the gallery will retain 40%. Artists will be paid within 30 days of the close of the show.
Terms - Each work should be labeled on the back or bottom of the piece and be accompanied by the corresponding list. Artists should indicate whether artwork is for sale or NFS. If it is for sale, please
indicate the retail price allowing that the gallery retains 40% of the sale price.
